The Barossa Wine Show is one of the region’s longest-running wine industry events, celebrating excellence in Barossa winemaking since 1977. Featuring hundreds of entries across more than 25 categories, the show brings together leading winemakers, wine media, and industry professionals to assess and recognise standout wines from across the region.

The judging process provides wineries with professional feedback and industry recognition, while wine enthusiasts gain insight into wines that have impressed some of Australia’s most experienced palates. In addition to the judging and awards programme, the event highlights the diversity and evolving character of Barossa wines through a series of industry and presentation events held throughout the season.

The 2026 programme includes entries opening from Tuesday, 7th July to Thursday, 30th July, delivery of exhibits from Monday, 31st August to Wednesday, 2nd September, judging from Sunday, 13th September to Wednesday, 16th September, and the Awards Presentation Lunch on Friday, 18th September 2026.
